Hey, everybuggy! I was looking at Mary Josephine's post about her family newspaper, and it reminded me of this AWESOME newspaper I did with two other kids in fourth grade. There was an artist (who did the covers) and then there were two editors (me and the other kid) and we worked together every two weeks and did it all year long!! It was so fun because we had a Book Corner where kids from our class wrote book reviews and a calendar with upcoming field trips and a Story Corner kind of thing where kids put their stories or poems! We really had fun with it! And I feel so proud of myself because it was my idea!
Now here's the catch, I'm in 6th grade and I really want to do the same kind of thing, but it didn't work out the first time. So I want to build a team of writers who could help me, but I'm afraid that my language arts class isn't really a writing kind of class. So if anyone could give me some kind of advice, it would help!

Sounds like you had fun! :) Sorry, I don't have much advice. I don't go to school and I don't really understand the way school things work. Maybe someone else will.

Lucky you. Your friends were willing to help. I begged my friends to help me, and did they? Nooo, they didn't want to. I threatened the end of their subscription, which they said they didn't want, but they still didn't help me. Soo, I had to finally put the Weekly Gazette to an end. :( I only got one thing from one girl, which was a book review. Oh well. I'm not complaining. Heheheh...
Now, I've come up with this AWESOME magazine, that I've wrote ahead of time, but the only lousy problem is that I don't know who to give it to!! I'm certainly not giving it to my "friends"... I've only gotten one girl that I know will want it... :( I wish I could give it to you guys!!! :(:(
Now for you, use your old friends. :):) If they want to! :D What was the name of your newspaper???

I'm trying to write a magazine, too! For me I don't really care about who reads it. I just like it for myself! It would be cool if you could post it here, but it probably wouldn't work. I'm wondering if this will work. If the Admin. can post it, here is the front cover of my magazine! I drew it myself. What do you all think?

Yeah, I know!! I've written a year and a half worth (two years in Cricket Magazine timing.... :P) and I just printed it off for myself. :):):) Hee, hee, hee!!!
