Celtic Woman

How come I didn't know abou this before?! I lovvvve her songs! (Well, some.) I searched her for May It Be, which is a Lord of the Rings song, that she sings. I wanted to compare between her and Enya's performance. (Enya obviously wins.)

I really like The Butterfly, and The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun, which I'm listening to now. Over the Rainbow is good, too. I like the IRISHNESS and CELTICNESS it's incredibly bliss!

Anyone else listen to her?

Yes, actually! I have (most of) the first album (just called Celtic Woman) and Celtic Woman Presents: Walking in the Air and Celtic Woman Presents: The Water Is Wide and A Christmas Celebration and A New Journey and The Greatest Journey and Songs from the Heart and Lullaby and Believe on Spotify. I really like Celtic music, and I like most of the other stuff they sing as well (I mean, "Over the Rainbow" isn't Celtic, but it's pretty).

It's actually a group of several different singers. Currently, it's Máiréad Carlin, Lisa Lambe, Susan McFadden, and Máiréad Nesbitt. It's previously included Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lynn Hillary, Lisa Kelly, Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Deirdre Shannon, Alex Sharpe, and Hayley Westenra. In case you're wondering, no, I did not have all those names memorized; I had to look most of them up. I thought their names would be worth memtioning because a lot of them have solo albums, and those are often pretty good as well. I haven't looked all of them up yet, but I do have some of Hayley Westenra's and Órla Fallon's albums, and I really like them.

"The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun" is one of my favorites of their songs as well. I also really love "Awakening" (although it's pretty similar) and "The Voice" (I like the original better, but I heard their cover first--that's another thing, they cover a lot of songs by artists who are also often worth looking up. I found Secret Garden from them.) and "Nella Fantasia."
