Why would being a Fish or a Who make you automatically not good at singing?

A camp I did did the jr. version. I was a Wickersham. (monkey). "Elephants ain't to swift as a rule ,but you're the biggest blame fool in the jungle of Nool! Cause you're talkin to a speck talkin to a speck to a speck of dust! Blame fool in the jungle of Nool. Respeck!" You can now guess my favorite song.

... Oh pleeze, take that speck away! Didja hear, didja hear, didja didja HEAR! (through the jungle, the news quickly spread.)

I love that play. I was totally obsessed with it in 6th grade. I even auditioned for a play with "alone in the universe", as a duet with my sis singing Jojo's part and me, Horton's. 'Twas fun...

Laughing :)

Doctor Suess was a nut. (in the best sense, of course)

How in the WORLD did he come up with all those rhymes?? I have trouble coming up with enough to make a silly short poem, let alone a million books!!! Now I see why he made up so many words!! :P

Well, I CAN'T sing in the first place. Fishies are dancers, and Whos are the ensemble. I loved it, though!

Let's get this straight. I don't like Dr. Seuss. I think he was over-weird and a bit disturbed. However, Seussical is just funky! "who whowadda who who whowaddadada" I made a whole version of "Biggest Blame Playoff" to be sung by LOTR's Gollum. "Better look out! Better look out, Frodo."

Oh.  I sympathize.  :)

I sing, but I'm shy, and I only get to sing in singing class.  No "Broadway"...  :D

I can't sing either. I ended up being a Who Townsperson... I would have liked to be a Fish/Hunch, but I had no idea what I was doing at the audition. xD

Seussical was insanely fun. ^^

Actually, I've never been in a performance of it. But I'll suggest it to my drama teacher..... I do sing those songs all the time. "When the news is all bad, when you're sour and blue, when you start to get mad, you should do what I do, tell your self, how lucky you are..."

There's a rustle in the bushes-ooh

There's a tremble in the trees-ooh

Feel it like a whisper, smell it on the summer breeze.

Ooh!
