"COME BACK!!!"

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

"COME BACK!!!"

"COME BACK!!!" You cry tearfully as the dog wrenches his leash out of your hands. "COME BACK!!!" You yell again, soon realizing it's futile to yell any longer. That was your friend's uncle's friend's daughter's dog, and she had entrusted you complete care of him. You'd better start looking for him, then. As you call through the streets, you see a brown streak cross the road and head right for you! It's Marty! Except... what's that in his mouth?! It's the neighbor's cat! No, wait, it's just a cat-shaped note. Grabbing it, you unfurl it to see that it says,

Oookaaay, now I think I'm the murder.... But... But... I, I don't want to be!

*starts crying in a corner*

Farmer's Assistant, I adore your writing! Except for the fact that I'm probably the murderor...

Cheer up, Booksy, it's not necessarily you.

Wait...it could be me! Aah, I'm the murderer!

Well, actually, I have no idea. I'll just have to wait and see.

Fflewddur says nuuu. You knew who the murderer was? Do you know now? Wait, wait, don't tell me. I'll learn myself, when the Farmer's Assistant tells everyone. Of course, by then, I'll either be dead, or the murderer, so it won't be too helpful. Nonetheless, I intend to remain in the dark concerning the identity of the murderer until his or her identity is revealed to the general public.

Hey, you guys, the murderer could also be me! It doesn't necessarily have to be you!

Uh-oh.

I could be the murderer.

*GASP* If I am, I'm terribly sorry for murdering everyone who I killed.

If not, I'm sorry anyway.

Okeydokey, my Christmas break from this is over now! I'll post as soon as possible, and also, great guesses for who the murderer is!!!!!! I'm really excited too! Even though I already know who it is! I am really pleased with how this has been turning out!

Chip says, "Uhnn," Are you scared, Chip? Wait, now he says 'otep'. Hoetp Ra? The first Extraordinary wizard? I didn't even know you could read, Chip.

I have a nasty feeling that I'm the murderer. I wonder how useful a marauders map app would be to a murderer. Probably pretty useful.

P.S.- I love the idea of a Marauder's Map app. It makes me laugh!

Day 5 ~

That morning, it was as dark as it had been that night. When the CBers woke up, one-by-one, they looked out their windows and debated whether or not to fall asleep. After all, today was another day; so that meant someone else would die. They rolled over, anticipating more sleep before the maids 'cleaned' right by their doors. Until they heard a scream.

Thoughts of books and murder screams and mysteries and how the scream always meant a dead body raced through everyone's heads at lightning speed until they reached The Dining Room. If you had been there, (and you were!) you could have just seen all the worry and stress piled up in dark lines under the vacationers' eyes, even in the darkness of the slumbering hallway they hurried through.

They stumbled through the Dining Room's open door and crashed into all its inhabitants.

"Look," Shadow Dragon whispered hoarsely. "That...that thing was in my bed on me.

The rude AEs pushed forewards to see a hissing python curled in a heap on something lumpy. When they pushed closer for a better look, three CBers blocked their way.

"It's dangerous," they whispered unnessesarily, for the snake loosened up a bit and revealed tattered brown mouse fur and orange kitten fur. Holly and Chip, tied and stuck motionless in the snake's coils.

"I...threw it on the ground, but Chip and Holly were playing and I didn't see them! It's my fault!" The CBers leaned in to comfort her, but the AEs looked at her suspiciously. "I promise, I didn't know!"

The AEs leaned close to each other in the middle of the huddle of frightened CBers and shared a few words. The AEs from the Dining Room nodded, and then Rufus stepped forewards.

"We have a clue!" he said gleefully. Moonfrost turned her tearstained head back to listen. "Ahem," he said importantly. "I remember locking this door! And we don't have a window! Or a chimney! And the doorknob is intact! And there were no hacking noises last night! Not to mention there are many, many places to--"

"Rufus, please stop rambling, we get the point!" Will said impatiently.

"Okay, sorry. The murderer belongs here, in the Dining Room! Because they would have had to be in here for the murder. There are many places to hide a snake, too."

---------------------------

Everyone digested this information, and they went downstairs to inform the assistant of the terrible crime. She suggested that they skip breakfast and have a funeral while the workers caught the snake. She said that there was a 'big day' planned for them, and that was greeted by unenthusiastic 'yay's.

So if the murderer has to be in the dining room and it has to be a girl, that leaves only:

- Cappy? (Unsure of gender)

- Icy? (Unsure of gender)

- Puck

- Poetic Panda

- Dragonrider? (Unsure of gender)

I think it's Puck, but what do I know, I'm dead or possibly being enslaved in a tunnel somewhere...
