I just saw it.  Oh, it was so GOOD!!!!!  I love Pixar!  It was so sad!!!!  (I cried a little) (I hate to admit it, but I did)

Oh, and so cute!  I could hear all the women in the audience crying and saying "aww!"

Have any of you seen it?

If not, YOU HAVE TO!!!!!!!!!  Oh, it was SO GOOD!!!!!!

I know!!!!  I don't generally cry at movies, but... Oh, it was so sad!!!!!!!!  :'(

I'm glad somebody else has seen it!  I was afraid I was the only one!!!!!

I liked the end of the short!!  (well, I liked the whole thing, but the end was happy!)

Oh, it was SUCH a good movie!!!!!  I want to see it again!!  But I know that won't happen because we only go to the theater once in a VERY long time, so I have to wait until it comes out on DVD...  :(

Up?!  I thought that was a dumb kid's movie!  I'm definitely going to see it now! :)

Hey! don't be bashin' mah dumb kid's movies! They're lulzy. ...I think it's part of the teenage female condition to love 'dumb kid's movies'. Seriously. *nodnod*

Anyway, no, Up's not a kid's movie. Like, parents have been taking smallish children, and they have to leave like halfway through because of Pixar's amazing awesomeness... I think they get scared by the dog pack. Also, the beginning- not the end, after you've been manipulated for an hour and a half to feel sorry for someone if they get hurt- but the beginning, after you've known Carl for about ten minutes, about half the audience was sniffling. Heck, I was teary eyed, and I didn't even cry during Marley and Me.

Bottom line: Pixar is awesome. Up is awesome. Pixar pwns character manipulation. And animation. Like, Pixar animations are second only to stop-motion animation such as Nightmare Before Christmas (is that a dumb kid's movie, incidentally?) or Corpse Bride. ((Yay Tim Burton)) Go see it. Also, don't be condescending towards 'dumb kid's movies'. 'Dumb kid's movies' are fun!

Doug: A squirrel says to a tree, 'I am dead because I did not collect enough acorns.' It is funny, because the squirrel gets dead!

I lol'd.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was dumb, but yeah, I guess you're right . . . and Corpse Bride . . . *grin*

Random, but how can you cry in Marley and Me?  The dog dies, but it's not like anything else sad happens.  Not like A.I. . . . A.I.!  Everyone has to see A.I.!  It seriously makes you bawl . . . Poor li'l guy.  *sniff*  Imagine being an android with feelings and everyone was mean to you, and you were just little! :(  Anyhoo, did you see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button?  Wasn't that disturbing?  Growing backwards . . .

*twitch* Nightmare Before Christmas was. not. dumb. *death glare*

Re: Marley and Me: EVERYONE came out sniffling or downright sobbing. EVERYONE. Except ME. *sigh*

I was little when I saw Nightmare Before Christmas, and it scared the HECK out of me!  :D

I only saw snippets of it, but Marley and Me was kind of dumb, sorry if any of you like it.

And I don't want to see Benjamin Button.  It sounds depressing.  :p  My mom wants to though...  Undecided

But really, you HAVE to see Up.  I totally agree with TNÖ, Pixar is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone I know LOVES all of their movies.  :P

And I'm not into dumb kid movies.  Yes, some of them are fun to see, cause they're so silly, and once in a while I really enjoy them, but anyway, it's not at all like that. :D

If you thought Nightmare Before Christmas was scary when you were littler, you need to see it again. I'ts really a great movie. But I can't say I'm a fan of The Corpse Bride.

Along with being the king of Dark Is Not Evil, Tim Burton is also king of (accidental) Nightmare Fuel. And Deliberately Monochrome (for serious. No one else should try to use filters. Ever. Especially Cathleen Hardwicke. Just... no... but I digress)....

NBC isn't scary from an older perspective. I agree with Emily, you should watch it again. :)

Aw, I liked Corpse Bride. And, incidentally, the title is not "The Corpse Bride", it's simply "Corpse Bride". Common mistake, like thinking Tim Burton directed NBC...

I've never seen Nightmare Before Christmas, but I did see The Corpse Bride and thought it really lame (no offense, anybuggy).

It's. Just. Corpse. Bride. There is no "the" in the title. And no offense taken, Tim Burton's stuff is kind of an... acquired taste, shall we say?

Pixar is awesome. Wall-e was great, along with many Pixar movies. Pixar movies aren't just for kids. They have grown-up themes, and grown-up references. They make it fun for little kids and grownups!
