Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Regular poetry thread

Regular poetry thread (because I'm tired of not editing my poems)

This is exactly what it sounds like! A thread to post poetry. I'm excited to read all of your work!

So I'm writing a story on Inkwell, and I came up with a bunch of rhymes in a conversation-rant-thing two characters are doing.  I'm not putting it in the story, so it's only availbable here!

May I have this fight?

You think
Just because I'm younger
I can't have as much power
As you?

"No, no, you don't understand,
Snow, we have the same amount of power!"

No, no we don't.
Let me show you
What I can do

If I had the time
And the place

Or the power
And grace

Don't be in haste,
I'll give you a taste

Oh, but you don't have to run,
Why don't you just join in the fun?
Quite frankly, I'm done,

I'm sure that when you all are gone,
Someone else surely has won

And don't you see?
That person's me.

~~~
Eh?  Eh?  Comments, questions, critiques?
I finally wrote something! It's been a while. (I have to screenshot it because I don't have the time to type it out) Also, don't judge me, I know the title is weird but I had no other ideas.
Wow, this is really good! (And now this thread reappears, after I just made a reboot one....I'll just let that stay bottomed. But I'm going to post one poem from the new thread I made....)
come for me, call for me
stumble through the
mist for me, reach for me
cry for me
try to find me, look for me,
strive for me
live for me, die for me.
Loss Of Friendship
A Message to Those Who Were Once My Friends
They say,
"Quality over quantity,"
But what if the quality
Gets worse and wears out over time?
Maybe the hints are subtle.
Maybe it's quite the opposite.
Sometimes there is sudden rudeness.
Sometimes it's a meaninless fight.
R: The first happened
When I reacted
Wrong to a situation
I wasn't happpy with.
J: The second happened
Through hints and whispers
Right before a sudden insult
That left me confused.
B: The third happened
When I wanted you to know
But you said,
"Why does it matter at all?"
M: The fourth happened
When you refused my hugs for a month
And when I asked why,
You said "We grew up."
S: The fifth happened
When you suddenly said
"You're only trying to be nice,"
And I believed you.
I sat alone today
During the first part of the third game
And none of you noticed.
Do you even know
How much loss of friendship hurts?
A poem dedicated to me trying to explain in words what it feels like to have someone you trust betray you, like the scenarios listed.  All are actual events.
Hello, lovely creatures/fellow poets! I've kind of disappeared from the poetry scene of CB for a while, but I'm back with a vengeance and armfuls of nonsensical rambling! I'm mostly going to be posting screenshots, I think, because it's easier than copy-pasting and having to concern myself with formatting.
