Steeleye Span, anyone?

This music group is great!!!! They sing folk songs and they are really good. If you want  more contemporary music, they have that too! I recommend the songs Blackleg Miner, Dark-eyed Sailor, Blacksmith, and Gaudete. They are a great group!!!!

YES! I have Below the Salt (album) and a few other assorted songs by them but I must get more. Great music, it's traditional music with a contemporary (well, 70s) drive and edge. I could go on forever, but let's just say I really like them.

 

You might like the Tannahill Weavers, Battlefield Band, Silly Wizard, the Bothy Band and Gaelic Storm, too. There's many more, but those are some that I like/have heard good things about.
