Thirty day drawing challenge!!
I know that a lot of you will be about to click away from this because you’re thinking “Oh, I can’t draw, there’s no way I’m doing this.” But that’s not true. Everyone can draw, you just need to practice! So please feel free to join us, we won’t judge. My drawings (as you will see) are pretty amateur, but hopefully they will improve over the course of this!
You can join at any time. Try to do all of these drawings in order, but if you need to skip a day or want to do multiple in one day, that’s fine. I know it’s kind of a random time to start a month-long challenge, but I wasn’t about to wait until November. Make sure you specify what drawing you’re doing!
If you finish (which everyone is going to do, right???), I will do a hand drawn picturing of you (and if you’d like, you can draw picturings for other people as well)
So without further ado, here are your daily inspirations! Be creative and make them your own!
- An unconventional face
- A still life of the first thing you grab randomly out of your desk drawer
- Anything, but you aren’t allowed to use an eraser
- Food
- A person in motion
- A scene in historic times
- Something purple
- A musical instrument
- Your pet, or the pet you wish you had
- Anything, but using a media you aren’t used to
- Something in your backyard
- Royalty
- Some kind of transportation
- A tiny drawing on a 2” by 2” piece of paper
- Your hand
- A scene from a book
- Something abstract
- A landscape
- A self portrait with your eyes closed— no peaking!
- The sky today
- A message in fancy letters (calligraphy)
- A scene in a fantasy or sci fi world
- Sadness
- Yourself as an animal
- A picture drawn without lifting the pencil
- A fantastical tree
- A drawing inspired by a dream or one of your earliest memories
- Something made of glass or transparent
- A redo of one of your earlier drawings
- A banner, trophy, wreath of laurels, etc. to celebrate your accomplishment!!

You know what? I want to try this! Normally I don't do thirty day challenges, but your list sounds really fun! I've done one before a few years ago, but I'd like to try again. Would you want me to post each drawing as I make it?

#1: An Unconventional Face
In all honesty the first theme was only unconvential face because I was trying to do another thirty-day challenge that began with a self portrait... and I ended up with this!

I'm doing Inktober at the moment, but this sounds fun. So, maybe in November. I would start now, but Inktober+school+other life stuff=0 current time in which to take up a challenge.

I'm in the same boat as Viola?. I love this idea, but I have a lot on my plate right now. Maybe in November. Then again, that is NaNo month...

Same here. I'd love to try it, so maybe in November, but since that's NaNo, maybe I'll restart this in December and make it Christmas themed!

Okay! Okay, I've started today. I really hope I can do it, my homework has been nuts recently. High school kinda sucks.
This is pretty unconventional yes? Semi-realistic and my more normal insane art style.
