Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Last night I

Last night I had an idea for a new time thingamagiger. So a year is 4 months. A month is from solstice to solstice (the fall and spring ones too.). A day is from dawn to right before the next dawn. Time: 100 seconds is a cent minute

100 cent minutes is a cent hour

there are 30 cent hour before clocks reset.

Is this an okay idea? I'm probably going to make trools (a type of sensitive troll)

Sounds fun! The Chatterbox should have it's own time system- it already as it's own expressions, etiquette, and holidays.

What would be the starting point for cent hours? As in, what day and time Universal Time would hour one (or zero depending on your system) be? Would you number the years, or would they just go by the season names and we live and let live about how many pass?  Will there still be months (and if so, how should the names be decided)?  Does the new year start the morning or evening of the solstice (evening would make sense since the solstice in in the afternoon).

Anyway, I lke this one because it makes you pay attention to the outside.  Very natural and artistic.  I kinda want to try and design a calender for it!

The starting point would be on June 21 right when the solsitce happens. and I'm not quite sure whether I'd number the years. The cent hours would start right when the solsice starts. Then it would go 00:01 0:02 and so on to 29:99 and start all over again.  There are 4 months in a year and a month streaches from exuinox to solstice. I'd probably name them 1 2 3 4 if I don't come up with other names. I kind of want to make a watch for it. Or at least a computor program which kind of does what a watch would do.

Does this answer your questions?

This is a really neat idea. I agree it would be really cool to design a calendar for, too.
