As I'm sure some of you know already, I am quite the theater nerd and thought it would be fun to discuss Broadway, etc. on here! I don't have any set topics in mind for this thread, I suppose we can just chat about anything theater-related.
My current favorite show is Hadestown. It's a bluesy, dystopian take on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, and it's gorgeous and really sad. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Literally every song is good, but some of my favorites are "Epic II", "Chant", "When the Chips are Down", and "His Kiss, the Riot". I might get to see it in New York this summer— I think I'll die of joy if that ends up panning out.
Other shows I like are RENT, Next to Normal, Spring Awakening, Kinky Boots, Falsettos, Fun Home, Waitress, Dogfight, and Spelling Bee, among others.

Cool! Is anyone here interested in theatre makeup? I got into it because of the last show I did.
i have to say, I never wear makeup. Like, my abilities are probably akin to that of a toddler T-Rex. Recently, I was part of a production of Shrek. We were so lucky to have a professional make up artist help us! I still suck at makeup, but it was really fun. I have some sketches of some makeup looks I can show here.
