Unexpected favorite songs?

I usually just listen to electro and chillhop music, but sometimes I'll stumble upon a song that's waaayy outside of what I normally listen to and instantly love it.

Do any of y'all have songs like that? (I'll post some of mine once this thread goes up)

Cool thread idea, Alizarine!

I usually like country music, or EDM (very different, but still) but I recently found out that for some reason I really like the song Hot n Cold by Katy Perry. I don't know why, I just really like it! The same thing happened with Story of my Life by One Direction.

Usually I listen to like, bedroom pop, indie, emo/rock, or 80's pop, but lately 've been listening to a lot more rap/hip hop. Like Tyler, The Creator (I've been listening to IGOR and Flower Boy a lot recently and they're both really good albums, I def reccomend), Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Childish Gambino. 

Also, some miscellaneous song from genres that I don't often listen to--

-No More Suckers by MARINA (I'm putting this song here mainly because LOVE+FEAR def sounds more like mainstream pop and way different than her past albums)

I usually don't love sassy/in-your-face kinda songs, but for some reason I love Confident by Demi Lovato. Actually listening to it right now.

I like basically all music except heavy metal, cheesy pop, and super fancy-pants classical, but I surpirised myself by liking "Dollhouse" by Melanie Martinez, because I knewit was a totally bad song but I liked it anyways.

"Family" by Tobymac. Only when I listened to all of it did I realize how great it is! But it's not my favorite song.
