Some poems I

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Some poems I

Some poems I wrote. They're all rather sad, so hopefully my next poems are less of a bummer. It's been a while since I've been on here, I used to go by a different name. So hello again, everyone :)

The man complains,

"I'm useless!

Not a single thing I can do, too,

Except cry and moan and wish."

He sits in his chair,

Not moving an inch,

Like truly nothing could be done.

Some would say pathetic, really.

But he's a dark mirror,

So I hope that isn't the case.

I drift,

Oceanless,

Floating on endless fog.

Perhaps when I see land,

I'll be able to feel again.

I take a telescope to my heart,

Piecing together parts that don't stick.

Its chemical imbalance, they say,

Well, I know its unbalanced,

But chemically, that's a bit insane.

Strangely, I'm so enthusiastic and apathetic,

So conflicting, contradicting,

I would say I'm frightened,

But you get use to the confusing known.

What name did you used to go by? I'd love to know! Your poems are pretty good, too.
