Drawing contest!

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Drawing contest!

Drawing contest!

hey guys! We haven't had one of these in a while, and i thought it'd be fun to bring them back! And if you don't know how it works already, basically, the judge(me, for this round) comes up with a theme and a date for them to be due. Then the judge well, judges the drawings and the winner becomes the new judge! And I don't think there are any rules other than nothing inapropriate and stick to the theme, Lmk if there are others!

and without further ado, the first theme is, drum roll please, Journey! Judging will be february 5! I'm super excited to see your pictures!

@Thunder Since Leeli hasn’t judged yet, I’d say you can go ahead and join.

Please submit your drawing soon! I don't want to pressure you, but the rest of the entries are in and everyone else has already been waiting on me to judge for awhile. I really want to see your submission, but if you don't post by the weekend I think I'll have to go ahead and judge because I don't want to keep everyone waiting.

Sorry I'm judging late. Gosh, this round was tough to judge! There were so many entries, and you all did great. I've managed to narrow it down. I didn't place everyone, but since there were so many entries I wanted to do more than first second and third.

Honorable mention: Spellbound! I really liked this drawing. It's a little bit rough, but it conveys a lot of emotion and the quote is beautiful and adds a lot of depth and meaning.
Fifth: Cerinthe! This piece is so simple yet quite captivating. The movement is lovely and I adore how you drew the gust of wind.
Fourth: DoodleGirl! The quote in your entry really captivated me. I also like the pose of the character and the way you drew the hair.
Third: Agent Winter! This is an epic piece! I love the force and movement, it's quite dynamic. I love the rich colors and you did a great job shading and highlighting the character's outfit, and I like your take on the wings. The words are a nice touch.
Second: Bagel Princess! It was a very close call between you and Quill. I only put you in second because I thought Quill's drawing fit the theme slightly better. I really love your entry though! The character is very unique and I can tell you've put thought and development into it. The way you drew the wings is adorable, and I absolutely love the way you drew and shaded the hair. And the letters flying around add a lovely dynamic.
First: Quill! Congrats! Your piece was so pretty and soft, and I just loved it. It feels very airy and peaceful, and I thought it fit the theme of flight very well. I love how you did the hair, and the birds are adorable. The coloring is nice and even, too. I love the feel of the whole drawing. Nice job!
Again--and I know everyone says this, but it's true--you all did lovely. These six drawings were fantastic and they were incredibly hard for me judge because honestly, they all came so close. Good job everyone!
