I was digging through Pudding's Place when I found Rose bud's "Writing/Art Contest!" and thought it was a really good idea! So, I'm gonna make one.

Here's how it works:
1. sign up as either an artist or an author.
2. on the 10th (or possibly sooner, whatever) I will assign each CBer a partner. There will be one author and one artist in each group.
3. There will be groups of two rounds. The groups will be judged on both partners' abilities. In the first semi-round, the author will post a short story. (Try to keep the stories under 1000 words) Then, the artist will draw a picture from the story. For the second semi-round, the partners will switch, with the artist posting a picture first, and the author writing a story for the picture.
Rules:
You can request other CBers as your partner.
We won't start until we have perfect two-person teams.
I will periodically post lists of all the authors, artists, and requested teams that we have.
Well, that's it! I'll post anything I've forgotten later, and make sure to ask me if you have any questions.

Okay, so it looks like I made some typos- Nerd, yes, you are right, and TSW, you're right too. Your score is 9/10.
Okay, the other teams:
Team Peregrine/Dragon
Peregrine- 8/10! Your writing is absolutely beautiful, and I love the premise and the concept of your story, and the bits and pieces of Chinese mythology that feels likeit has been tossed in.
Dragon- 0/10. You didn't submit.
Alright, explaining the next round! Everyone will be moving on. I can accept new teams, as long as you make a post saying that you are a new team, so I can keep track of you. Teams that were in this round will be judged out of 10 again, and new teams will be judged out of 20 next round. Peregrine, since Dragon didn't participate this time, you are allowed to choose a new partner.
This time, artists, you will submit your art and your author will write a story to go along with it- just like last round, only with the timing swapped. Art is due by the 24th. If you have questions, just ask me.

Alright! I'm sorry my picture scored so low, but I hope I can do better this round, assuming you would still like to work with me.
On another note, I have no idea what to draw or where to start. Do you have any ideas of what you might want to write about, so I can draw the picture as something that you would have an idea to stem from it?

Well personally I think 7/10 is pretty great AND I still love your picture a lot (seriously! It's aMaZiNg), and also you're a really fun and cool person so of course I still want to work with you! I'm honestly good with anything, so draw whatever you feel like drawing :)

Do you mind if it is more abstract? I'm working on a stained glass thing for art class and i am so busy I don't know if I can get another drawing out by saturday. If not, I'm totally fine trying to draw something else.
@Wree, is more abstract art allowed, or does it have to involve a character? i'm thinking more of a sailboat, but kinda curvy and whatnot.

Sterling- 10/10! Your story was utterly depressing, but in a... wierdly good way? Don't ask me. But I loved it!
Kitty- 9/10! Your artwork was great, and it fit into the story perfectly! All in all, great job!

I haven't heard anything from my original artist partner (Ferocious Dragon) so I need a new one! Anyone want to partner with me as an artist? For this round you draw a picture you would like me to write a story for. Please make sure you have time to do this before you respond.
