Sealock Boarding School

One warm and slightly cloudy day in late August, 15 letters were delivered to different houses across the world to a child between the ages of 14 and 16. The letters were enclosed in crisp olive envelopes and sealed with a wax stamp depicting a sword and a wand crossed behind a book. The letter inside was written in careful cursive on a sheet of parchment:

To Whom it May Concern, 

You have been cordially invited to attend Sealock Boarding School this September. Sealock Boarding School specializes in students with arcane abilities. If you accept this invitation, please fill out the attached form. One of your companions may come along. Companions are either a pet or a sibling between the ages of 5 and 13. Companion forms are also attached.

This is a ski lodge-solo write, meaning that it will function like a normal ski lodge, but instead of submitting CBers, AEs, and CAPTCHAs, you will submit characters you make up. I am planning on having 15 characters (and their companions, making it 30), but if more people wish to join, then I can extend it to 20.
