Crafting!

Recently, I've been doing a lot of crafting. I'm knitting a scarf, cross-stiching a phoenix, and felting a penguin! I tried crocheting a while ago, but stopped because the instructions were too confusing. I'll probably try to get a youtube tutorial on it. 

Do you guys do any sort of crafting? Share your pictures and projects!

Does anyone here do quilting? I have this idea of quilting together different colored patterned fabric together to make a giant rainbow flag. I think I'm going to start it this weekend!

I also bought a dress pattern that I'm excited to use! I bought this fabric with a cool birdy print on it.

I recently moved so all my crafting supplies have been packed up but I love sewing and I'm learned to knit. I also just learned to felt at camp and I love it but I have no supplies.

I also painted this ceramic jar and I'm still finishing it, I want to paint a sun on the other side of the jar, but I think it's turning out pretty good so far... I'm a little nervous how the colors will look after it gets glazed and fired, but we'll see....

This was the end result of my lantern! I am actually really really pleased with how it turned out; I thought the colors wouldn't look good, or it wouldn't fade into each color, or if painting the sun on the other side of the lantern would turn out, but it actually turned out better than I anticipated!

I used glaze, not exactly sure what is it called, but it was a certain paint that could go into the kiln and then come out really shiny and look 'glazed.'

Here's a design I embroidered onto a pair of Converse! I've been wanted to try this for soooo long, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out! I'm planning on wearing these for the first day of school :)
