Written Picturings!

I want to get better at describing people, so I thought I'd try this again!

Name:

Gender/Pronouns:

Brief Personality:

Anything Else?:

~~~
I'll be giving either fantasy or realistic picturings, but if you'd prefer one or the other, please specify in the Anything Else? question.
Thanks!
You've already given me a written picturing but could you do one for my AEs? I'd kind of like a group one but I don't know if that's a thing so if not that's fine:
Names: Indy, Chai, and Rogue
Genders: they're all female
Personalities: Indy is shy, kind, and artistic. She is most likely to get the other two out of trouble. Chai is very very very hyper at times, and she LOVES sugar. She is very optimistic and appreciative of anything and does not need to look on the bright side because she literally lives on the bright side. She is usually encouraging and helpful, too. Rogue is the opposite of both of them--unoptimistic (is that a word?). She can be quite blunt and is usually unhappy.
Anything else: if you don't want to do a group picturing, you can just choose one of them to write a picturing for! I don't want to overwhelm you or anything at all. Also I'd prefer it to be more realistic than fantasy.
Here’s yours! I’ve never done a group written picturing, so
this was a fun challenge. Just to clarify, the first person mentioned is Chai,
then Indy, and finally Rogue.
In a small forest, weaving through trees and sweet-smelling wildflowers,
is a creek. Beside the creek, grows a tall, wide oak tree, spreading its
branches protectively out over the forest.
Three figures emerge from the foliage and stop near the big
oak tree. One makes her way to the tree, finds her footing on the lowest branch,
and begins to climb. She has tanned skin, peppered with freckles, from long days
spent in the sun. Her collarbone-lengthed light brown hair swishes freely around
her shoulders, and her eyes, trained on the branch above her, are a dark,
chocolate brown and twinkle with golden speckles. She’s dressed in a light blue
denim jacket, half-covering her sage green tank top. Her gray jeans are ripped
and muddy, and she is wearing black converse.
The second girl sits down on a rock, and takes an indigo
sketchpad covered with stickers and a pencil out of her olive-green messenger
bag. She has olive skin and dark purple hair in a loose, messy bun. She has a
paint-splattered overall dress over a plain white tee, and dark blue sandals.
Her brown eyes gaze distantly at something, then she turns her attention to her
sketchpad and begins to draw.
The last person looks through the stones lining the creek,
before selecting a flat, wide one. She has midnight-black hair with streaks
dyed white, and is taller than the two other girls. She has a pale complexion
and bright blue eyes. She is wearing dark denim jeans, black combat boots, and a black
hoodie that partially covers her hair. She flings the stone into the creek and
it skips, once, twice, three times before sinking beneath the crystal-clear water.
The idea of a smile plays with her lips, and she bends down to find another
stone to skip.
The three people stay by the creek until the setting sun
casts a rosy hue across the darkening sky, and they leave, hearts lighter with
the promise of returning to the creek tomorrow.
WOW!
This is amazing! I love the description. It really paints a picture. And the story is great! I really like how you weaved their personalities into the story and their appearances.
This is beautiful and I will not be surprised if I find myself rereading it. Thank you so much, pangolin!
Hope you like it!
Deep in the forest, a girl sits on a moss-covered tree
stump. It is sunset, and the sun, peeking from behind the dark purple
mountains, stains the sky a blood-red hue.
She has long, amber hair in a messy bun on top of her head,
dark green eyes the color of the tree leaves around her, light, freckled skin,
and slightly pointed ears. She’s dressed in a light green gown that could be
leaves, could be silk; it’s hard to tell. Woven into her hair is a crown made
from sticks and leaves: the mark of an elven princess.
The girl closes her eyes and begins to sing, the melody soft
and sweet. The longer she sings, the more her confidence grows, and she
attracts an audience. Except, instead of people, the group around her is made
of woodland animals, from a small robin perched on a nearby branch, to the
hedgehog nestled by her bare feet, to the doe that pokes her head through some
of the foliage.
She finishes her song and opens her eyes. The girl is a bit
startled at first by the crowd of animals, but then she smiles. She sings
another song for them, and then another, deep into the night.
Wow, pangolin, this is absolutely beautiful! You can paint such a realistic picture, I could imagine all of this happening with ease, and it was like a painting being painted. Your words build upon each other. I'll use Kevin from Freak the Mighty's words, "each word is part of a picture. The sentence is a picture."
Thank you so much! I love this! You're an amazing writer!
I believe I've already done a picturing of you, so this is different from how I typically imagine you. I hope you like it!
The snow upon the mountain glitters in the late morning
sunlight. Snow is lightly falling, swirling and dancing in the wind. At the top
of the mountain, a girl stands still. She is wearing a gray-blue ski jacket and
dark snow pants, and has skis attached to her ski boots. Her skin is pale and
her cheeks rosy, and goggles are pulled up around her chocolate brown eyes. Strands
of her snow-dusted black hair peek out from under her hat.
She takes a deep breath, and pushes off, gliding down the
slope. Snow rises behind her like snow, and the falling flakes sting her face.
The wintry scenery and other skiers whip past her. She slows to a stop once she
reaches the bottom of the mountain. The girl takes off her skies, and starts
walking toward the lodge for a warm cup of hot cocoa before she heads down the
slope again.
