Music!

Lots of threads like this have existed in the past, but I haven't seen one lately, so...music! Who are your favorite musical artists? Favorite songs? Singers who are totally underrated?

My favorite singers right now (it's a really random assortment) are mxmtoon, chloe moriondo, Brandi Carlisle, Madame Gandhi (you should check her music out!), Raye Zaragoza, AURORA, and the Linda Lindas.

Lupine! I've always known you had great taste, so I'm very excited that you know who Brandi Carlisle is because my entire family loves her and the band she's in, The Highwomen, and we're going to one of her concerts this summer.

Some of my favorites are anything from Clairo (in case some of you people didn't see the other 15 million times I've mentioned her, for which I'm sorry but she's just amazing and her music is so good), Her Name by Pamelo (pretty off the radar band, I think), Are You Bored Yet? By Wallows, which may or may not also have Clairo in it, Harry's House by Harry Styles, especially Matilda, Little Freak, and As It Was. I also like Dizzy by chloe moriondo. And lately when I get home from school I do a thing where I just sit there listening to Beetlejuice for a while.

Ooh that's so cool that you get to go to a Brandi Carlile concert! I bet it'll be really fun. I've never listened to Harry Styles really, but everyone says Harry's House is really good so maybe I should check it out.

Has anyone heard the Brandi Carlisle song called "Out on the Rock"? (or something like that). It's one of my favorites of her songs.

*GASP* OH MY GOSH YESSSSS The Beatles! Bob Dylan! The Monkees (sorta, not as much as others)! :)))))))))))
And you say you can almost guarantee that no one else listens to music from the 60-70s time. I was gonna say the same thing. Have you heard The Who? And Who? And *lists bunch of old bands*
Pretty much no one I know outside my family lstens to that stuff, for some reason. Like, hello? Guitar solos are cool! Why aren't they a thing nowadays? *continues rambling*

Better end that here before it gets too long.

Ohhh yeah i know some songs by The Who! My dad sings Pinball Wizard constantly

Guitar solos are AMAZING.  I dunno if it's just that i grew up listening to old music, but i cant get into music that my classmates listen to.  it just gets on my nerves.

I like Eivør - half of her music is in another language (Icelandic maybe?) but whatever it is, it's beautiful. On the slightly more well-known end, I also like Arlo Parks & Billie Eilish, and some of Daft Punk. And tragic folk songs; don't ask me why. I like my music minor, I suppose.

Hewo! My favorite bands/singing groups you might have never heard of. They are For King and Country and Cain.

If you want I will put my favorite song that Cain did. Here it is:

The Commission.

I am not gonna put the words though.
