A comprehensive list of sodas!

Hi?

Gosh. How is one supposed to find the first ever RP? Unless that whole thing is a trick, and we aren't ACTUALLY supposed to find the first ever RP...

And what do they mean, the first lock won't last forever? How would they get rid of it?

Is there a purpose to the story about the forest?

Okay, so after looking into it this is what I've come up with:

The Founder: Dmboogie

Five Different Things:

1. The name.  It's now called simply an "RP," not a "Role Playing Story"

2. There was no form to fill out.

3. Controlling other people's characters to move the plot along is pretty standard now

4. Almost every post was a reply, making long chains of very thin posts

5. Double parenthesis to speak outside of the RP are not a thing on here anymore.

I haven't been following the scavenger hunt, but this is appears to be the very first RP: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/9828

A few things I noticed:

1. In their prompt (on LtP), they put the request itself in double parentheses, like people did in the first RP. Do you think this means anything?

2. They told us to put the five things we noticed on their original thread. Could someone post the link to that, as I don't know where it is?

3. What was this thread for, anyway? This Sosa thread, I mean?

1) Perhaps it was another hint. I'm impressed.

2) Here's the original scavenger hunt thread: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/387013

3) This Soda thread? It was created by Neko so we could discuss this scavenger hunt. Don't worry, we didn't just hijack an innocent thread.

@Marigold, wanna post the five things (plus the founder) you noticed on the original thread?

I posted it on the original thread two days ago, but they still haven't responded. Should we try posting it somewhere else? Or should we just give them a few more days?

1. Nope, no new clue yet! They did receive our information, but told us to stand by for further information.

2. Yes, definitely! The more minds, the better.

Well, while we are waiting, we might as well continue to use our minds. So, if it's alright with you, have some riddles.

1. This is an oldie, you probably know it: The man who makes it doies not want it, the man who wants it does not need it, and the man who needs it does not know it.

2.A boy gets bit by a poisonous animal. He is taken to a hospital, but the doctor cannot fnd anything wrong with the boy, other than a bite. How is this possible?

3. a wallet is in the lost and found, and two kids claim to own it.  Kid 1 says he was at a public laundry place and was lifting the top of the dryer when Kid 2 stole his wallet. Kid 2 says he was lifting the top of the washer when Kid 1 stole his wallet. Who is lying?

4. a medal from world war one is at a museum. It is golden, has a shield ingrained in the front, and on the back says, "for serving in world war one". A kid sees it and says it is fake. The Museum owners look at him strangely until he explains why. What did the kid say?

3. Kid 2 is lying. Dryers don’t open on top.

4. Of course, it wouldn’t have been known as World War 1 until long after the war.

both correct!

I did NOT GIVE IT AWAY, TED, THEY JUST GIT THE RIGHT ANSWER

2. Well, the animal was poisonous, not venomous, so the bite wouldn't have injected anything into him, right? To be infected by a poisonous animal, you have to touch it or ingest part of it. Only venomous animals can infect you with a bite.

1. Well, I looked it up, and cool answer! I won't say the answer, though, since I didn't fairly guess it.
