Hey, I’m going camping this weekend with my troop 

and I’m going to bring my doll for the long car ride

but there’s going to be my Scout friends in our car, so...

i might be embarrassed

Who cares what they think! BRING HER THERE! I would personally be impressed if someone brought an american girl doll! (I'd proabably beg to play with her and be her aunt but whatever)

I have to say I totally feel you! I've embarrassed myself more than I would have liked (I mean, really, who hasn't?) and I often try really hard to avoid embarrassing myself again (often failing).

Um, I think my advice would be to bring your doll anyway because that's what will make you happy and if your friends tease you for that then they shouldn't be your friends! But, at the same time, don't bring the doll just because you feel you should because we're pushing it on you... do what you think best and be confident in your decision! 

*notices that you said you'd be leaving tomorrow two days ago and realizes this whole post was probably useless... sorry...*

if you call six inches of mud, getting your fingers frozen and being wet when you sleep

Of course Maediae will talk about all the bad parts...

Anyway, so I got to be with my new troop a little bit more!

I went aaaaalll the way to NEW YORK(West Point) and I live in Virginia so... looooong ride there. 

And for the “camouflage” thing, we smeared brown green and black makeup all over our faces. I drew a smiley on my forehead. Great camouflage, huh? xD
