OUR LMWAY!

(Last Month We Asked You)

Last Month We Asked You: Fill in the blank: Create a float idea: What will your float be about and what will you be throwing?

Here are your Float-tastic answers!

Soren Infinity said:  Girl Scouts are standing on a simple platform that has red white and blue streamers trailing down from the sides. behind them is a giant model of Captain America’s  shield. on the white star in the middle of the Shield are written several virtues, such as courage, loyalty, compassion, hardworking, ETC. Each of the Girl Scouts is wearing a piece of paper pinned to their front displaying one of the virtues. They are throwing Jolly Ranchers, Lifesavers, and Airheads.

Barnswallow said: My float would have a huge mountain in the middle. The base of the mountain would be covered in pine trees, and then there would be a Crystal Clear Lake surrounding the mountain. surrounding the lake on the edge of the float would be a beach with gorgeously colored rocks. There would be two figurines of me and my cousin ( Icy ).  Icy would be sitting with her feet in the water making beautiful pictures out of fire, well I fly over the water, doing flips with my wind powers. The floats will be throwing candy, because I don't think you can replace candy in a parade.

Fleet said:  My float will be dog-themed! paper mache dogs of various bright colors will be all over the float, and a giant multi-colored wolf will be in the middle. I will sit on it, throwing out candy and dog toys.

And Finally, Spiffycat said:  my float will be a giant ice dragon, white and blue, and I will be throwing Lifesavers, Reese's Pieces, and stuffed animal clothing.

That’s it for our LMWAY! Jeez, that might have been our best LMWAY yet! Now I hope your funny bone is ready for tickling, because it's time for...

JULY JOKES!

what's red, white, blue, and green?  a seasick Uncle Sam!

what's the difference between George Washington and a duck?

one has a bill on their face, well the other has their face on a bill.

how can you tell if a month is being paranoid?

they are always asking “ did July?”

why are months so bad at getting up in the morning?

because they love to July in bed!

 June's over? Julying.

( Credit to Barnswallow )

I wondered why everyone looked at me strangely when I brought tap shoes to the Fourth of July BBQ, but then my friend Julia explain to me that it was IndepenDENCE Day, not IndepenDANCE Day.

how do you compliment someone when they invite you to a Fourth of July party?

You say that they are Barbe-CUTE!

little Susie brought her dolls to every party she went to, but stop doing this a Fourth of July party, where they got  Barbie-Q’d.

and finally, how do you compliment a girl on the 4th of July?

 fire- work it girl!

Great jokes, don’t you think? Anyway, now it’s time for our Month-related advice bit! July’s advice column is all about...

HOW TO CATCH THE MOST CANDY!

 here are some tips:

get a really, REALLY big net!

Try not to look old, try to look young and eager, they'll be more likely to throw candy to you.

~Submitted by Barnswallow

Host your OWN parade, and take ALL the candy!

and finally, hire people to catch candy FOR you.

Great tips! And next, fresh from last June, we have...

CBer AWARDS!!!

Alright Soren, take it away!

Most supportive/aware award: Claaws!

Posting those mental awareness and acceptance threads was very brave and thoughtful. You gave many people a chance to speak out and share their experiences! I really appreciate how you've contributed these to the CB, and I'm sure other people do too.

Kindness award: spiffycat!

Wow! Your compliment thread was much appreciated. You even went above and beyond by making rules that made sure as many people as possible got their fair share of love. This was an awesome thing to do and it's always so beautiful to see all the love compliment threads spread.

Most persistent author award: Vyolette!

I love how you resurrected your old story with a new thread, determined to give us your completed work! I'm really happy about this, because even though I don't post there often, I really love that story. It's so well-written and I aspire to be an author like you. ^^

“Not-afraid-of-expressing-their-Opinion” Award:  Joan B of Arc and Leeli.

Why: The two are never afraid to express their opinions on matters, and are a great example for chatterboxers everywhere. keep up the great work, Joan B of Arc and Leeli!

Creativity Award: “ an empty world”.

Why:  They created the Chatterboxes first ever World Waker thread. In the thread, you could create a world with the help of other CBers,  describing Islands, seas, kingdoms,And much more, even allowing you to name the creations! Everyone at Floof agrees: despite not knowing who the CBer responsible is, this definitely deserves an award. Congratulations, “An Empty World”!

And that is all for the CBer awards!

Finally, the moment you all (definition of all: Floof) have been waiting for, the monthly check-ups first ever in history, give it up for the...

LOCATION OF THE MONTH!!!

This sector is going to be a little bit different. We will be discussing our top three locations, and why we chose each one! Don't feel bad if yours didn't get first place: the decision making on the winner is extremely hard, because all of the submissions are excellent!

Without further Ado, let us begin!

 in third place, we have…

STRANGEST CITY!

Why:This one has an aura of secrecy and suspicion around it. We definitely think this would be a good location for a Chatterboxer who loved horror and mystery, but Floof Industries does not fit that description. Overall, Strangest City is a good location, but just not for Floof Industries, at least at this time.

 in Second place, we have...

 CRICKET'S CORNER!!!

Why: We really like the thought on this one: We already have a Cricket themed place, so why not have another one as our location? This one was really witty, and we're surprised we didn't come up with it ourselves, but unfortunately, our first Placer just barely inched ahead of this one. Overall, Cricket's Corner Is a great location that you should be proud of!

and finally, in first place, we have…

BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS!

Why: We really appreciate how you took our reputation as a positive influence into account when creating this location! Of all the submissions for location of the month, we feel this one best summarizes Floof’s goal and energy. Congratulations on winning the best location, you deserved it!

That is all for this Month’s monthly check-Up! Now for our LMWAY:

The original calendar didn't have August or July, but were added in a revision of the calendar, named after Julius Caesar and his relative, Augustus. If you could make one change to the current calendar, what would you change and why?

Leave your answers in the comments below, And we’ll put them in when it’s Monthly check-up time!

Thank you all for waiting for this and an extra big thank-you to our contributors! Remember to put August themed things in the comments!

Here is what we’ll accept:

Your quota is at least three things in your category; if this is not met by the date of the next MCU, you will be fired. You can be re-hired tho.
