My family got an assorted batch of chicks this month and the one exotic chicken the hatchery added happened to be a White Crested Black Polish. Please look these little guys up because no matter their age or gender they look like goofballs. All polish chickens tend to but this one just seemed over the top. When he was really tiny his puff was so cute! We named him Puffer Stosh O'Hareski ya know cause he's polish. Anyway...does anyone on here have Polish chickens or just chickens in general? What about stories? I have many but I'll probably add them if this thread gains any popularity. But seriously - look up pictures of this type of chicken.

I looked them up and they're really cool. I don't have any chickens but I wish I could, our neighborhood doesn't allow them. Do you have any pictures you could post of Puffer Stosh O'Hareski?

This was taken in the sun room of my house because it was the only place I could get my camera to work. It's a closeup obviously.

He's still pretty small so his puff isn't done growing yet. That really sucks that you can't have chickens. Anyway, here's another one at a different angle.

i have like 40 chickens, including three different types of polish(polishes? polishi?)
one is a white crested black like yours, her name's Marshmallow, one is a.... well, i don't exactly know what type she is, but she's goldish-blond colored, and her name is Butterscotch. The third.... he's a wild and crazy mix, and is probably only half polish. He has eleven toes! Five on one foot and six on the other. I named him Spider.

Well, my aunt has four chickens (she got them about two months ago), and they're all pretty funny! But last week, she got a dog, and the dog likes to chase the chickens around! I think chickens are pretty great.
