Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

**Hello everybody!

*The office is cleaner than normal.

That's because we´ve gone…*pulls up chart* 2 weeks and 6 days without fighting!

**Ooh! And if we get three weeks, we get ice cream trivia night!

*We couldn't decide which one we wanted, so Ella combined the two to lower property damage.

Anyway, welcome to this very lucky edition of the...

*Hmm, let’s see...oh, yeah, I actually CARE about my property and won’t impale it for a joke!

**I never SAID I’d impale it!

You know what I would put on a stick? Ice cream and trivia cards!

That shut them up. Anyway, let us fabulously transition to….

(Last Month We Asked You)

Last Month We Asked You: What do YOU consider lucky?

Here are your wonderful answers!

Luna-Starr said: Well, to connect with St. Paddy's Day folklore type stuff, you're unlucky if it's rainy and sunny but you don't see a rainbow. You're lucky if there's no rain but still a rainbow, like that last scene in the original Muppet movie.

possibly wiser said:I think seven-legged spiders are pretty lucky. That's just a me thing, not culturally based or anything. They inspire me to keep on at it, even if I find myself impaired by what life throws at me. And they are beautiful!

Summer said:The number seven. If a pair of dice isn't weighted, it's the most commonly rolled number, which I think makes it lucky. Also, Friday the thirteenth should be lucky.

Majestic May said: The word "Yodel" should be considered lucky because... I don't know. It just should.

cerinthe said:To me coincidences always feel lucky, especially good ones.

Lastly, Spellbound said: well, um, I don't really know. I guess for me, praying is lucky, but I know not all of you pray. Wishing on stars and things like that is fun, but I don't know how lucky it is. Luck is something that you can't, like, grasp, and I don't know if anything is actually 'lucky'.

*Oh, I didn’t consider tape or glue! But the question is, what is a better adhesive?

**I think hot glue. It’s fast, clear, and works just as well as regular glue! Plus, tape might give too much wiggle room.

*Fair point. But another query: does it matter if you whittle the stick?

***I walk in and these idiots are debating the logic of putting stuff on sticks?

*sigh* At least they’re not fighting.

***I can change that.

Orrrr you could do the jokes?

Ha, I know how to shut down an introvert. That makes you laugh? Well, let’s keep that going with the

Can February march? No, but April may.

Which type of bow can't be tied in march? A rainbow.

Why did the Leprechaun go outside? To sit on the Paddy-o

Q:What do you get when you mix poison ivy and a four leaf clover?

A:A rash of good luck!

Q:What falls in March but never gets hurt?

A:The rain!

Q:Why is March trampoline season?

A:It's spring-time!

*Hm, perhaps I should become the first professor of Whittling Arts.

*OH! Uh, *ahem* It’s time for the advice! This month’s column is entirely user-generated, so any usual content makers of Floof can go back to whatever they were discussing-DOING!

*This month’s advice is all about...

Joining the Chatterbox.

I try to feel lucky for everything, cause I know I am an extremely lucky person. I'm lucky to have great health and my family and their health too and a great house and financial security and good food every day and a school my parents pay for me to attend and my own bedroom and the chromebook I'm typing on and music to listen to and talents I try to share and after school activities most weekdays that are so fun and my friends oh my goodness. Everything.

(Luna-Starr )

Well, I'd like to say I feel lucky for everything, but, truth be told, I am a greedy and selfish child. I want to feel lucky for the things I have, but if I really want something and I don't get it, I'll complain. I really shouldn't complain, I have a lot more than I need. Though, depending on my mood, I can be really thankful for things. I am thankful for all of you, and my family and our financial situation and my friends and school, and there is so much more for me to be thankful for!

**And those were my basic ideas for curriculum.

*Fabulous! I am quite impressed with your knowledge of pioneer times, Andrea.

**What can I say! I hold the knowledge for that field because that’s Ella’s favorite part of history, and she made COUNTLESS stories about that time period!

You guys gonna help?

*sigh* Oh, well, let’s just continue with

In third place, we have…

Why:Very nice holiday-ism, but the other suggestions were a bit more creative! Nicely done, however!

In second place, we have…

(Because Floof is a pot of gold)

Why: Aw shucks, aw shuckarooni, aw golly gee willikers, Aw mashed wash, aw fried cobbler, AW-

In first place, we have…

Why: Oh jolly gee topuhth’mornin’ I can TASTE the Green River in my mouth! Fantabulous work there!

*Ella, I have something I’d like to tell you.

Oh, great. First I have to do the entire MCU by myself because you were discussing WHITTLING, and now I have to pull this whole thing on the breaks because you wanna “tell me something”?

**Ella, what’s the matter?

It’s…*sigh* it’s nothing. Let’s just do the awards.

(Awarded by Luna-Starr)

Best new SI: Jwyn/Odysseus!

Yay, I was happy to see this! We haven't had many SIs recently, so it was nice to see one pop up. Thank you for always keeping the CB a lively place with your games and other fun threads!

Awesome CBversaries: Summer, Tuxedo and Alizarine!

Happy CBversary to you all!! It's been amazing to chat with all of you guys. All three of you are such amazing people and role models for us all. Congratulations on reaching these milestones!

Best resurrected ski lodge: Vansix and Lila!

Wow! I don't think I've ever really seen someone bring back a ski lodge like this! It was so unique and determined of you to create a new thread to bring back your ski lodge. Awesome job

*And that’s all for the March MCU! Make sure to comment stuff for the April MCU! Here’s what we’ll accept:

April jokes

Location of the Month

How to Avoid Being a Prank Victim! well as pranks to try.

LMWAY (What would you hide inside eggs instead of candy and money?)

CBer awards!

*Ella, me and Andrea were discussing...things, and, well, I discovered from that discussion that I may or may not have a passion for-

*A-a whittling professor.

You’re joking, right?

**Dead serious.

...See, this is why you all are driving me inSANE!

I swear, why can’t you just once let me focus on the task at hand instead of focusing on some dumb thing like Whittling Professors?! Why can’t you just act like a normal left and right brain instead of being so DUMB constantly?!

*Ella, please-

***Yeah, sorry ‘bout that. Um, have a good March or whatever. Bye!

Happy March, everyone!

April 2 - World Autism awareness day

April 11 - National Pet Day

April 18 - World Heritage Day

April 19 - World Liver Day

April 23 - World Book and Copyright Day

April 26 - MY BDAY!! (throws confetti)

April 29 - International Dance Day

Alex stole my only good April joke! That's my go-to joke for everything, it's got a perfectly cheesy punch line, my uncle hates it... Oof. I guess I can't be the only one with good jokes.

How to avoid being a prank victim: Be CONSTANTLY aware of your surroundings. You can't wander mindlessly on April Fools Day. Another tip: Write "April fools" on the back of your hand, so whenever you see your hand, you'll remember that it's April Fool's Day. Then you won't fall for anything.

LMWAY: Nothing. Everyone would get excited to open their egg, and then... Nothing. I love me some good anti climax.

That's it. Yodel!

Um my birthday is in March, it's crayon day. I have this calendar that says what holiday it is every day. It's really cool. I think weird holidays like these are epic and there should be a day for them. Anyone?

Wow, I remember the April Floof from last year! Whoa, I keep having weird deja-vu-y flashbacks. XD

Avoid being prank victims by never accepting food from someone on April Fool's Day, being skeptical about almost everything pranksters say, and carefully checking your surroundings before moving/functioning/anything-ing. XD

I would hide clues in them that lead you to the next clue, and so forth, in a scavenger hunt for the ultimate end prize, like a giant Easter basket full of goodies.

Location of the month: In a Plastic Egg!

Important dates:

April 2-World Autism Awareness Day

April 11-National Safe Motherhood day

April 22-Earth day

April 23-World book and Copyright Day

April 28-World Veterinary

April jokes:

Q:What's the best month for monkey business?

Q:Why is Everyone so tired on April 1st?

A:They just finished a long March

Location of the Month:

Ummmmm.......On a magestic mystical unicorn's back....because Easter is unicorns....IDK, that's just what popped into my head XD

How to Avoid Being a Prank Victim! well as pranks to try:

Well, we don't really do pranks at my house-or at my school-so I'm not super educated in this feild of stuff. I once tried to trip someone by attaching a string to the sides of a doorway, but I did it while everyone was awake, so they all saw, and I didn't plan it out, so it didn't really work out. My advice is, plan out exactly what you're gonna do down to the very last detail, then do the night of march 31.

LMWAY (What would you hide inside eggs instead of candy and money?):

Hmmmm.....well, if it's for an only child then something meaningful to that person, but otherwise.....stickers.

Great jokes, Spellbound! Thank you.
