(*)We went to a ski lodge!

*ONLY to take notes on what a CB ski lodge would look like when done effectively.

**That’s what we told Zeke so he would come along with us.

*Really?!

Well, I’m sure we’ll hear all about it along the way. For, now, let’s just hear our advice column on...

Tips for SPoOoOOking!

If your spookee suspects something, then wait until they're occupied.

(Mistia)

set a bowl of candy on your porch with a "please take one" sign. Then dress up as a scarecrow (or just hide somewhere if that's too much work) and watch. If someone comes up and takes more than one, jump out  and scare them, causing them to drop ALL of their candy! hahahah karma.

(M.M and I had this EXACT same idea!)

If you have a family member that likes to take hot showers, dip a cotton ball in lemon juice and write a message on the bathroom mirror. When the mirror gets steamed up, the message will appear.

(totalnightowl)

Drink water and gurgle it in your mouth by the doorway of your sibling's (or other housemate) room then peek in with a "HELLO!"

(aqua)

Hide behind a bush. Then make rustling sounds in the bush. When someone walks toward the bush, go to the other side of the bush, VERY QUIETLY. Then JUMP OUT OF THE BUSH AND SCARE THAT PERSON INTO DROPPING THIER CANDY AND THEN EAT THE CANDY, MWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

(Emekittycon K)

This might be more a prank than a spook, but if you're sitting behind someone, like in a theater, tap them on the shoulder farther away from you. They'll look behind them and be like, "who tapped me?" and they won't suspect it was you!

(Kitten)

-Sit very still, and stare into the distance. If someone asks you 'are you ok?' Don't answer. Make it even spookier

-When the house is dark and quiet, but someone is awake, quietly creep up behind them and say 'boo!' (Or something like that.

(Joan B of Arc)

Obviously, don't scare babies and seniors(elderly, not high school) that's just mean...um...work on atmosphere, sometimes a lot of little things are scarier than a ghost jumping out from behind a door.

(Bakerloo)

(I see what you did there and that's fantastic) You could (I am NOT suggesting this) make a leaving thread as a prank, because that would definitely scare me!

(Luna-Starr)

(*)And then I said, “That’s not my wife, that’s a camel!”

Ahhahahhhahahh.

**That was weird, Ella.

Yeah, don’t quite know what happened there.

**And yeah, that was about all that happened. Now-

(*)No, then Sammy got super mad!

***Everybody got mad, nitwit!

(*)Yeah, but you most of all!

(Andrea and Zeke look at each other, then sigh. The two continue to squabble, and Ella ignores it, then…)

(*)And then you drop-kicked me and broke my leg!

OCTOBER JOKES!

What plant likes Halloween the most?

BamBOO!

(Mistia)

Kitten One: I saw a DRAGON!!

Kitten Two: You gotta be KITTEN me!

(Emekittycon K)

What’s the scariest animal?

OCT-opus!

What does a pumpkin call their children?

pump-KIN!

Why do ghosts have the best boyfriends and girlfriends?

Because they realize that they need to be treated, not tricked!

Halloween is just a weird holiday for me. Something about it is just Uncandy…

Why do some ghosts cry?

Because they feel BOO!

WHAT!?

***Listen, it’s not what you think-

Oh, you are in big trouble, little miss!

***Kazmara pinched me first! I was just using magic in self-defense!

**Actually, they got into a bit of a squabble-

*Andrea, dear, not now.

(*)No, Andy’s right! Sammy and I were fighting, but she took it WAY too far-

Let’s move on, shall we?

OUR LMWAY!

Last Month We Asked You: If you had to dress up as a villain, who would you dress up as?

Mistia said:Ooh...probably Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter.

cerinthe said: I think I would be a human form of Kestrel from WoF. If such a costume was available.

Totalnightowl said: Probably Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty

Emekittycon K said: Umm, this is tricky. Probably Ursula from the Little Mermaid. She's my fave villian!

Bakerloo said: I think I'd be Count Olaf from A Series of Unfortunate Events, probably in one of his disguises...either Detective Dupin or Stephano.

Pygmy Owl said: Oh, Martina Crowe from The Mysterious Benedict Society! She's incredible.

Luna-Starr said:  I'd be Doofenshmirtz from Phineas & Ferb!

Lupine said: Both of these characters start out villainous but are totally redeemed in the end, but they're two of my favorite characters from, like, anything, so I have to: Double Trouble from She-Ra (the 2018 version) and the witch from the new Mulan movie.

Kitten said: Goops/Her/The Purple One from the webcomic Sleepless Domain. If you haven't read SD, (a) you should do that, and (b) this probably won't make a lot of sense, but I love how she has actual motives and she's a very interesting character.

Joan B of Arc said: I would DEFINITELY be Scar from the Lion King!

I know he's a guy, but he's my facorite Disney animated villain! and his song 'Be Prepared?' I get chills every time!!!! (I actually think I AM going to be Scar for Halloween, I think it would be cool to cosplay and try out the makeup for Scar!)

M.M said: well, I would be Doofenshmirtz, but it seems that's already taken. Maybe I could be other dimension Doofenshmirtz, like in the movie.

*lots of fighting and Ella switching between sighing immensely and being the peacemaker when-*
*CAN YOU BOTH-

**JUST SHUT UP!

(silence)

*Seriously, we never get anything done when we just fight willy-nilly like this!

**Kazmara, you have a bit of an excuse because you’re new, but I expected better from you, Sammy.

***^gulp^ disappointment…

*No, you both are to blame for this whole ordeal, okay? So just apologize and make up.

(*) *sigh* I’m sorry Sammy.

***I’m sorry too…

Good. Now, it’s time for the...

Wonderful yet cryptic responses, ya’ll! And now, it is time for the…

LOCATION OF THE MONTH!

Third place is…

ENJOYING THE FIRST HEARTH FIRE OF THE SEASON!

Why: GOSH! I love the asthetic from this. I don’t think it will fit though, but this is so good!

Second Place is…

BOO!

Why: Gosh darnit, this has such Chatterbox energy! It’s funny and silly, yet simple. But you’ll understand why I chose the other one…

First place is…

DRINKING A PSL!

Why: I was so scared at first that I was drinking chemicals. Now I shall terrify everyone else >:3 Great work!

(*)How did nobody mention my cast?

***Maybe it’s ‘cause you look good in everything you wear.

(*) :)

Aaaand they’re done. Thanks for your help back there, guys.

*No problem.

**All in a day’s work for the mom-and-dad duo!

**Well uh, I wouldn’t, uh, call it that…

No, it’s canon now.

Wonderful job, all of you! And let’s, as always, end on a high note with the...

Yay, MCU time again! I always enjoy reading them, so thank you for making them. I don't have enough time to answer now, but hopefully I can later.

*fancy orchestra music plays*

Oh, gee... wow... this is amazing... I'd like to thank my mom and dad, and Luna for nominating me, and the Admins and everyone who took part in Lost in Translation, and the webmaster, and all my cousins, and-

*starts to be played off*

-just thank you so much!

Now, to business:

IDEA! What if there was an AE advice column in the MCU a la Ask Abby or Social Q's? We could choose someone to run the advice column and have the other AEs write in with funny problems. Thoughts?

How to eat the most, hmm...  fast beforehand, for as long as you can go without becoming grumpy or fainting. (hey, I actually had something good to offer this time!)

November 6 is my half birthday!

Location of the month... how 'bout at the table?

And as for the LMWAY, I think that chicken or any meat besides turkey would be good! I find turkey to be really dry (you have to put so much gravy on!)

And I think that's everything. Thanks Ella, I love reading these, they're great!

Stay spooky, everyone.

oooOOOooo (floats away through a wall)

a good idea, but I don't know if I'll have the time to run it! Could you, please?

Oh, totally! I'll make a thread for people to nominate AEs sometime soon.

Yayayay! Another MCU! Great job, as always, Ella. I'm so glad it's finally spooky month! As you can see from my name :)

@BakerBOO, an AE advice column sounds absolutely great. My AEs would love it. Also Bakerboo is such a great name XD

I'll post my November stuff later.

Oh...

Also...

BOO!

Yay, MCU! Thanks for making these, Ella Sarburst, it seems like they're a lot of work! But what is a PSL?

Participation award: Spirit. Thanks for adding so much cool stuff to Inkwell and Pudding's Place!

Location of the Month: comfort eating

LMWAY: I think that some Native American foods should be added to the tradition. (I admit that the only one I can name off the top of my head is popcorn.) I mean, Thanksgiving started as a feast between the white settlers and the Native Americans, (even though the settlers totally enslaved them and stole their land from them afterward, ugh) and I think they should get more credit.

'Kay that's all I've got! Thanks for making these! <3

Other Native American foods: succotash (corn and beans cooked together) and maybe fry bread?

Location of the Month: Saving the turkey.

LMWAY: I would say probably spaghetti or pasta of some sort. There are aren't usually a whole lot of entrée options for me since I'm vegetarian, and most people like pasta in some form, so it seems like a pretty good choice.

(October 4, 2020 - 2:28 pm)

Thank you for making these!

How to eat the most:
1: turn into a cat. Make sure it is not one of the ones who get a bowl of dry food set out and eat it any time, but instead turn into one of the ones who gets meals and then devour them. This is to make sure you have no sense of self restraint whatsoever.
2: rip open a bag of food, maybe grow opposable thumbs so you can open cans.
3: EAT.
Location of the month: procrastinating
Also, happy nomadic hut appreciation week!
submitted by Feline Fantasy
(October 5, 2020 - 3:31 pm)

November 21 is my sister's birthday.

Location of the month: watching football

How to eat the most: eat fast. Everyone says to eat slow, but then you get full faster.

LMWAY: Macaroni and Cheese. But homemade, because some of the boxed kinds are disgusting, in my opinion.

(October 7, 2020 - 8:46 am)

How to eat the most? ...Do it slowly. Also, don't think about the large quantities of food or calories that are entering your body. Distract yourself by talking to your family and continue to eat sporadically throught the whole. Day.

Bread rolls should be a tradition food! They're delicious and easy- and also, bread is great!

location- in a cornucopia (festive, but also relates to the HHGs!)

Important date- not really a date, but November is National Novel Writing Month!

submitted by Luna-Starr, age 27 eons, Existential Ponderment
(October 8, 2020 - 9:04 pm)

How to eat the most: Just, eat it quickly, without even thinking, just shove it into your face, and just ignore the people staring at you like "Wha...? I'm not veen gonna talk to that person" And yes, PLEASE DO IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE!!! Just Kidding!

Ok I've decided to stop procrastinating on this and do my part for the next MCU.

November 1st - All Saint's Day, Day of the Dead, National Author's Day, AND World Vegan Day.

November 3rd - Election Day

November 5th - Use Your Common Sense Day

November 7th - Book Lover's Day

November 9th - Chaos Never Dies Day

November 12th - Chicken Soup for the Soul Day

November 13th - Friday the Thirteenth! (dun dun dunnn)

November 15th - America Recycles Day

November 19th - Have a bad day day (dunno why this exists)

November 21st - World Hello Day

November 24th - All Our Uncles are Monkeys Day

November 26th - Thanksgiving

November 27th - Majestic Mary's official start to the holiday season.

November 28th - French Toast Day

How to eat the most - have a pretty small breakfast and lunch, and while you are making food, DON'T take little bites of whatever you are making, although it may be tempting. And while things are baking do little exercises like squats, so you get hungrier and by the time Thanksgiving dinner comes around you will be ready to eat all the food on the table! (wow there were a lot of grammatical errors in that paragraph but I literally don't care)

jokes:

What is turkey's favorite dessert?

Peach gobbler!

What kind of keys can't open doors?
A tur-key

ba dum CHEE

LMWAY: waffles. Because why the heck not?

Location of the month: waiting for the holidays

aaaand that's it. Byyyee!
