Physics thread!

This is a thread to talk about physics! You can also do science in general!

Hmm. Physics isn't really my thing--but I still like science. I like biology, especially microbiology, astronomy, and computer science. In my opinion, physics is the boring-est (this is just my opinion, it's totally fine if you disagree!) but most useful type of science. You do use it a lot it engineering, which is what I'm studying, so I'm going to have to take it in my junior year of high school sooner or later. It's also interesting to see how it intersects with math--like how you can graph the trajectory of something thrown in the air with a parabola.

Actually,

the reason I like physics the best is because it correlates with maths the most. There are so many equations. Have you heard of string theory? It says that our universe is made of super tiny vibrating strings and that the vibrations of the strings control particle type and mass.

Posting in twenty minutes. Thanks admins.

Yeah, I've heard of it. I think it's interesting. Aren't the strings only 1 dimensional, or something like that, so they only have length? I dunno, I haven't done a ton of research on it.

I love science and I must say, it is one of my fvorite subjects. Personally, I am not the hugest fan of physics (and I am most certanly not  good at it!). I do, however, think that it is a fascinating topic, its just a tad bit boring. My favorites are computer science, astronomy, and, even though it is not a general science, parapsychology (the study of ghosts or supernatural beings).
