Art Contest: Amazing Moms and Dads

Whether it's riding a buckin' bronco, like Trev's dad in "The Cactus Kid Meets His Match," organizing a worldwide peace movement to end war forever, like Julia Ward Howe in "The Mothers of Mother's Day," or just getting everyone to school on time, moms and dads do some remarkable things. So for this month's contest, everybuggy in Cricket Country wanted to see your pictures of amazing moms and dads. Will you draw what your mom does that impresses you most or that makes you laugh? Will you be inspired by a time when your dad helped you or showed you something new? Will you draw something your parents really did, or imagine what they might do if they had a chance to do anything they wanted-such as fly to the Moon or explore the rain forest? Maybe you won't draw human parents at all-there are lots of cool moms and dads in the animal kingdom. Whatever you choose, send us your very best work of art featuring a cool, amazing, surprising, unbeatable mom or dad. (Pussywillow has already started a drawing of Ladybug!)
