New Art Contest: A Special "Now"

Ladybug really liked the poem “Now,” about special moments we’d like to keep forever in our memories. (She even said it was as good as some of her poetry.) Life is filled with happy, meaningful, and exciting moments that shouldn’t be forgotten. For this month’s contest, everybuggy would like to see your best drawing of “a now you’ll remember forever.”

Will you be inspired by a special moment you enjoy this summer with family, or friends, or experiencing nature? Perhaps your art will capture a quiet moment by a beautiful summer lake, or a remarkable encounter with an animal like in “Katie and Gulliver.” Maybe your drawing will preserve an exciting moment in a baseball game with your friends, or a Fourth of July family reunion picnic, or something surprising and memorable you see while traveling on vacation. You might even draw a moment from history that you find particularly important to remember, such as the first moon landing or the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Whatever scene you preserve forever in your art, everybuggy in Cricket Country will be counting the moments until your beautiful drawing of a special now arrives.
