Winter Wishes

“Ah-choo!”
I wish I could be outside today
And watch the bright snow fall.
I wish I could freeze making snow angels in the yard,
Then return to the warm house and a cup of hot cocoa.
“AH-CHOO!”
I w-i-ish I could go outside today
A-a-and catch snowflakes on my tongue,
But I’m afra-a-id I’ve got a c-o-old . . .
So I’m going to rethink this winter thing
And wear my winter coat next time!
