The Way of Duchess

There’s a cat in our house with fur so white,
Brown as caramel, black as night.
With her sister she often fights,
That’s the way of Duchess.

She’ll go chomping away at the cat food,
Giving her sister an attitude.
Plopping down in a happy mood,
That’s the way of Duchess.

She’ll go cuddle and snuggle with owner Faith,
With lots of hugging and cute nicknames.
She could do this every day,
That’s the way of Duchess.

Her fur is as cuddly and soft as a bunny,
When she comes up and winks at you, you’ll think it’s funny.
Then she’ll run to the cat bowl to fill up her tummy.
