Tomcat

I know this cat
Who I see every day,
A cool tomcat
Who loves to play.

With him I have
A world of fun
And at night he curls
Into a bun.

When morning comes
He arches his back
And his legs launch,
Searching for his early snack.

He is fat and yellow
And can be quite mellow.
He is brown and long
And can be quite fun.

He loves to scratch.
He loves to nap.
He loves to cuddle.
He loves my lap.

In sum I will just say
That I could not ask
For a better cat.
