Stallions

Black and Red with a mare
So beautiful Black weeps
But this mare Red wants to keep
Red
Takes a breath
Nostrils flare
Eyes glare
Turns ’round
Then he bounds
To fight
For his rights
Black
Steps back
Finally
He takes revenge
Red gallops forward,
Wards Black off
Once again
His herd grazes peacefully.
