Seasons

Princess Spring comes, light green
the buds poke up, the soft rain falls, birds twitter
the forest a moist canopy of new leaves

King Summer comes, deep emerald
the lakes are blue, beach sunny, woods bright
they desire soft moss and cool shade

Lady Autumn comes, scarlet, tangerine, and saffron
crisp green apples and pumpkin goodies, the sweet taste of fall
comes with jack-’o-lanterns, blue skies, and golden harvest moons

Lord Winter comes, glittering and white
sparkling snow sits on red ribbons and frosty evergreens
and houses are lit up, multicolored and gold
with lots of little lights.
