The Orchestra of Night

In the dark and out of sight
There’s a hidden grand delight
Daytime ruckus turns to harmony
In the nocturnal symphony
The orchestra of night

Their conductor is the moon
In their lively ballroom tune
The owl softly sings
While the cricket rubs his wings
The orchestra of night

With pipes made of hollow reeds
And maracas filled with dried out seeds
The floating breezes strum a lyre
The twinkling stars become a choir
The orchestra of night

A lullaby calms you to dreams
In the nightlight of the moonbeams
Is it real or fantasy?
Close your eyes and you can see
The orchestra of night
