Halloween

In the darkness, ghouls slink out,
and you will hear a goblin’s shout.
And in the graveyard, ghosts will moan,
for under the earth, corpses groan.
Whilst in the deep and haunted woods,
skeletal reapers pull on their hoods.
For when the specters come and peeve,
’tis the night of Hallows’ Eve!

Ghosts

Sending shivers down one’s spine,
whilst they’re not haunting, it’s just fine.
They’re tricky specters, maybe spooks,
possibly phantoms, could be kooks.

They spook everyone in the room,
they come out at night from their tomb.
They will give you such a scare,
ghastly spirits everywhere!

Midnight

The clock strikes twelve, it’s time at last.
The Erl-King’s legend is coming to pass.
The skeletons come out to dance to his tune.
Under the light of the Halloween moon.
