Hurricane

How do I see? The lights are out.
I run back and forth, pacing about.
Where are the flashlights? I can’t see!
There’s no light for you and me.
Creepy, creepy shadows are floating around,
I bump into something, and it crashes to the ground.
The wind is howling, and the trees are swaying,
It’s too scary to do some playing.
The doors are loudly creaking,
The roof has rain that’s leaking.
The wind is blowing the trees on the lanes,
I absolutely, positively don’t like hurricanes!
