Vampires’ Delight

Kids out playing
on a stormy night.
Vampires prowling,
giving children fright.

Vampires asking
for a tasty bite.
Children screaming,
while vampires delight.

Children dying,
while vampires eat.
Soon vampires realize
it’s time to sleep.

But it’s too late,
the sunshine is here.
Now it’s time for
the vampires to fear.

Vampires are dying,
while kids shout in joy.
No more vampires
to scare and destroy.
