That House on Mystery Street

I’m going to that house on Mystery Street.
It looks all creepy and crawly,
All gruesome and gray.

Every kid that entered last year
Never came out.
It’s been a mystery ever since.
What will be inside?
Ghosts or witches?
Spiders, monsters, Frankenstein?

Wizards brewing mysterious potions?
A werewolf howling loud and scary
At the big, bright, round moon?

But when I open up the door,
I see monsters doing the Twist and the Boogie!
A skeleton comes up and asks me to stay!

And I say, “Yes!”
