A Fire Spell

What is this?
It’s a book.
Let’s open it and take a look.
Spells inside, spells and spells,
Spells that can make you fly and spells to create water,
Spells that can even turn you into a furry brown otter!
Which to choose? I think this one,
A fire spell, oh this will be fun!
Light and heat,
Make me have a nice hot treat!
Create me a roaring fire
That will grow higher and higher.
Let it burn until I say
“This is enough for the day.”
I like the sound of that spell,
But this one will also work as well:
Horns and scales,
Wings of fire,
Enter me with enough power and heat to melt wire!
Turn me into a green dragon
With enough fire to fill this flagon!
I can only choose one,
So, which to choose, which to choose . . .
