Magic in Me

I like to hope and wonder
About magic inside me.
Perhaps I made a blunder.
For I’ve never been that free.

I went to see a wizard
For help on my situation.
“Well, my dear,” he sighed,
“I’ll teach you teleportation!”

We spent many years together,
Doing charms the entire day,
But then one fateful morning,
The wizard passed away.

I tried to be strong, I tried,
But it was tragic, the wizard had died!
I blinked back my tears, but they burst through.
I sat on his stool and cried.

When I got up, I made a cup
Of hot chocolate and whipped cream.
I drank it all and then I
Gathered all my self-esteem.

I closed my eyes and then I felt
A strange folding sensation.
I looked around and I had to say,
“I’ve done a teleportation!”
