Recital

I spin around the stage,
My tutu swirling madly.
After one last hop,
The music stops,
And I finish my dance quite gladly.
I smile broadly,
My parents clap fondly.
The crowd’s yells and cheers
Are all that I can hear.
All I can think is: wow!
And, I bow.
