Chester’s Adventure
One day Chester the chipmunk went to the Chipmunk Fair. At the Chipmunk Fair Chester saw some of his horse and bull friends. His friends were buying balloons and gave fifty to Chester. When Chester held the balloons he started floating up in the air, and when the birds popped the balloons he landed by a movie theater.

Since he wanted to see inside the movie theater, he jumped in someone’s Las Vegas chipmunk shirt so he could sneak in. When he got inside he found some Dum Dum suckers on the ground, so he ate them. Then he went backstage and thought he saw some carrots, but they were actually cords, and he still chewed them. Finally he went out. He thought he saw his sister, so he went over to see her, but it turned out to be a puppet display.

Soon a ten-year-old girl who was alone found Chester. When she realized Chester was dirty, she went to the girls’ restroom and gave him a bath in the toilet. Since she didn’t have a cage, she stuffed him in her popcorn bag filled with popcorn. When they got home, she put Chester in her shoebox with the pink tissue paper in it, and he became her pet.
