I was biking home from school one afternoon when it started raining. Aw, rats, I thought. Now I’ll get all wet!

I then remembered a kid at school talking about a shortcut next to the grocery store. I biked to the store and went through the alley next to it. In front of me were three roads leading into three tunnels. OK, I’d rather get wet than get lost, I thought.

When I turned around there was nothing but a solid brick wall. I had to go through one of the tunnels. The left one was my first choice.

I found myself in an empty wasteland. When I looked closer at the ground, I saw plastic. This was the future! I biked through the tunnel until the wall was there again.

Now to try the middle tunnel. The roar of guns echoed around me. Another future: war.

I went through the last tunnel and saw a town shaded by a canopy of trees. There were houses and a market. The last future: peace.

I biked back through the tunnel. The wall was gone. I chose a future and went home to work for it.

What future do you want?
