Soulmates

The Greek myth says that the God Zeus split us apart,
Condemning us to seek out our other half for the rest of eternity.
Maybe I got lucky,
Seeing as I got to meet you so early on in life.
Because when I’m with you,
I feel a thousand galaxies swirling around,
Two thousand fireflies lighting me up,
Three thousand butterflies in my stomach,
And an indescribable amount of love.
