Detective Bartholemew and the Case of the Missing Stars

“I think I’m getting tired of this case,” Detective Bartholemew grumbled loudly to himself. Seven whole weeks had passed, and he still had no clue why the stars were missing, and if he didn’t finish it by Saturday, he would be forced to quit his job!

Suddenly, Bartholemew’s wife, Louisa, rushed in. “The space mice have eaten my space zucchini again!”

“That’s it! Louisa, you solved my case for me!” Bartholemew exclaimed.

“Wait, what? I did?” Louisa asked.

“Yes, I know its very confusing, but now I remember that the stars are made of cheese! The space mice must have eaten them!” And with that, he was out the door running, running to the computer station to email his boss.

Bartholemew checked his email about three hours later to find an email from his boss saying: Thank you for solving the mystery, though I want you to find a solution and activate it, because people have been complaining. Sincerely, Your proud boss

Thankfully, Louisa had an idea for a solution, and she had the materials, too. “I have a big box and I mean a big box and I also have loads and loads of  zucchini cheese. I think you should put the cheese in the box, then take some cardboard and write on it: Eat this cheese instead of star cheese because we need stars and you keep eating them and we want you to stop.

When they finished the plan, Bartholemew emailed his boss.

Boss’s reply said: Thank you so, so much. I kind of thought this case was too hard for you. Sincerely, Your even prouder

Bartholemew was so happy he thought he would burst.
