Fireworks

BOOM! POW! POP! SHOOT!
a bright flower blooming in the starry night sky.
The moon shines forgotten behind a cloud.
Another appears as I lie in the cool grass watching
the show excitedly. Soon, a whole field of flowers
sprouts in the sky, fizzing and popping all over
as I enjoy the show.
