Bolt couldn’t believe it! The senate from The Kingdom of the Lightning dragons had exiled him for fighting with another dragon, even though he hadn’t started it. He was always blamed for everything. And everyone hated him just because he was a hybrid.

He was just getting out of dragon territory, when he saw a red glow in the distance. He flew to it and saw that what was making the glow was an army of Phoenixes. The dragon’s worst enemies! He wheeled around and before he rightly knew it, he was back in the Dragon Kingdoms, away from the attacking Phoenixes. He flew straight by the many protesting dragons, who yelled and threw things at him, and the halls of the palace swallowed him up. He reached the throne breathlessly and bowed to the king immediately after landing.

My king!” he said. “There is an army of Phoenixes on the border! Get help from The Kingdom of the Fire Dragons! Quickly!”

The king was basically the only one in the kingdom who didn’t hate Bolt, because when the king was smaller, a hybrid dragon had saved his father and the king himself. He shouted at his fastest fliers to get the Fire Dragon army.

In what seemed like hours but was only a few minutes, they returned with the Fire Army and the Lightning Army, ready to battle. They all flew to the border and before the Phoenixes knew what was happening, attacked. The battle was fierce, but the dragons won, all because Bolt had saved the day!

After all the commotion from the battle had died down, Bolt was back in the palace, this time to be let back into the kingdom. The senate begrudgingly let him back in, but Bolt knew that he would have to watch out for them in the future.
