A Perfect Summer’s Day

The cool water swirls around
my feet as a gust of salty sea
air breezes on by
off in the distance the sun begins
to set reflecting off the beautiful
ocean creating a path of sun on top
of the sea
a crab scuttles quietly over my toes
meanwhile a boat creates ripples
in the water
as I dive under the surface of the sea
the sun darkens suspended
behind a puffy cloud for a moment
I walk back to the shore as the
mosquitoes start to buzz
ending a perfect summer’s day.
