Fire Full Night
The dark night is silent
not a sound or a whisper
the dark penetrates
every corner and every space
it surrounds the world
like a thick blanket
I blink
When I open my eyes
Thousands of fireflies
Flutter around in front of me
the dark is still there
but hiding in the corners
sulking away from them
so small are the lights
but all together
they are bright enough
to warm a cold night
