The Girpeesnorkeloose
Have you ever heard of a girpeesnorkeloose?
Well it happens that it’s a beetle
With ten eyes that are chartreuse.
If it crept across your window
Or ran across your floor
It would take one glance at you
And you would be no more!
Its lumpy bumpy jaws
Devour everything in sight,
And everything that goes in them
Increases the monster’s might.
Its rock-hard yellow spiny back
Is covered in green speckles.
The sight of it would make you pale,
Even your tiny freckles!
It has a roar, a mighty roar
That’s louder than a lion’s.
If you heard this scary snarl
Then it would send you crying.
But I’m not scared of a girpeesnorkeloose!
Oh come out, little rascal,
I would like to find you.
RUN! RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
HE’S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!
