Cicadas in the Evening
Listen
Every night, as day turns to dusk
I hear their voices, and the world is serene and simple
All the little cicadas, their voices rising as if in debate
And just as the moon peeks out from the clouds,
And just as the sun sets behind the horizon,
The cicadas quiet
Listen
